About Chemlah Care

Nurse-led home care built on compassion, safety and clear communication

Who we are

Chemlah Care provides private, nurse-led oversight and trusted in-home caregivers to support families across Australia who wish to age safely and confidently at home, as well as those requiring in-home support during recovery from hospitalisation, cancer treatment, or the management of chronic illness.

The name Chemlah carries deep meaning—compassion. This principle guides every interaction we have with clients, families and healthcare partners. We are committed to ensuring every person is heard, respected and cared for with dignity in their own home.

Our team operates with strong clinical governance, clear communication and a person-first approach, so families know exactly who is supporting their loved one from the outset.

Our Mission

We believe every Australian deserves to be cared for with dignity and respect, in the comfort of their own home. Our mission is to combine clinical excellence with genuine compassion, ensuring families across Australia receive reliable care, clear communication and personalised care plans that respect culture, language and individual choice.

Our Values

Compassion

We care for every person as we would our own family—with patience, empathy and deep respect for their lived experience and personal story.

Safety & Trust

We work with carefully screened caregivers, structured clinical oversight and clear escalation pathways, aligned with your doctor's guidance to ensure safe and reliable care at home.

Respect & Dignity

Every care plan is tailored to individual preferences, including privacy, daily routines, cultural practices, faith and dietary needs—especially for families coordinating care from interstate or overseas.

Excellence

We continually review feedback, outcomes and care standards to ensure the quality of service consistently reflects the trust placed in us.

Our Story

Chemlah Care was founded to make high-quality, trustworthy home care accessible to families across Australia and beyond. We recognised the growing pressure on families balancing work, distance and complex health needs and set out to build a service that combines nurse-led standards, with caregivers who feel like a natural extension of the home.

Whether supporting short-term recovery after a hospital stay, or providing long-term companionship and support for a loved parent, we take the time upfront to understand each person's medical needs, home environment and family preferences for communication and involvement.

Today, Chemlah Care operates across Australia, continuing to grow thoughtfully alongside the families who place their trust in us.

Our Approach to Care

Dignity First

All personal care, meal support, mobility assistance and wellbeing activities are delivered with discretion, sensitivity and respect for each individual's routines, preferences and sense of dignity.

Safety & Wellbeing

We work in coordination with treating doctors, hospitals and healthcare providers. Key observations are documented appropriately and caregivers are trained in infection control, safe manual handling and risk awareness to support safe care at home.

Family Communication

We provide regular, clear and easy-to-understand updates to families—whether local or overseas—with all communication shared in accordance with consent and privacy requirements.

Caregiver Training & Standards

Our caregivers receive structured training in aged care fundamentals, medication awareness, fall prevention, safe personal care practices (including bathing and dressing) and recognising and reporting changes in condition. Ongoing supervision, spot checks and coaching ensure standards remain consistently high.

We maintain secure, structured electronic documentation to support continuity between families, caregivers and clinicians—while upholding strict privacy and confidentiality at all times.
